Virgilio De la Cruz, president of Time to Sparkle, has been recognized as an outstanding professional of the commercial cleaning business by several specialized magazines such as Hispanic Trends, Clean Rooms and Coverall Cleaning Concepts News.
In 2003 Coverall Cleaning Concepts awarded him as a Franchise Owner of the Year in the medium business category.

In 2003, the cruise ship Regal Princess docked in New York harbor with 350 people (out of 2,177 total passengers) affected with the Norwalk virus. Although Virgilio was contacted with less than 24 hours notice, by the time the ship landed, Virgilio’s team was already in the pier. What followed was an army of 15 men, Virgilio included, that decontaminated and cleaned every nook and cranny of the ship before its next expedition.

After a weekend of heavy rain, a building management company called Virgilio to clean their flooded lobby. In just a few hours Virgilio’s team had cleaned the lobby, and left the place sparkly clean. Virgilio has been the cleaning provider for this building ever since.

Last spring, several apartments in one of the buildings serviced by Virgilio suffered severe damage in a destructive fire. Firefighters had to tear down walls and doors leaving the apartments in deplorable condition.
